The Coupe
The newest representative of the sports line Mercedes-AMG is crossover GLC Coupe. The model carries the designation “43” by developing an output of 367 hp. The new sports crossover is powered by the same 3.0-liter bi-turbo V6 petrol engine that know the version GLC 43 4Matic. The engine is mated with a 9-speed automatic transmission 9G-TRONIC system and four-wheel drive 4Matic, it develops 367 hp and 520 Nm. Like the other models in the more moderate AMG-line “43” system for four-wheel drive is configured to transmit torque to the rear wheels - at a ratio of 31:69 and the transmission has a mode for faster change gear.
All this allows the GLC 43 4Matic Coupe to reproach from standstill to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 250 km/h. The average cost according to the European method of measurement is 8.4 l / 100 km. Crossover is equipped also with tuned chassis with air suspension adaptive AIR BODY CONTROL. There are more sport brakes with 4-piston calipers in the front and steering system that changes its characteristics depending on the speed.
For GLC 43 4Matic Coupe is prepared and distinctive design, demonstrating 19- or 21-inch wheels, unique grille, exhaust system with four end pipes and more. Sporty atmosphere of the interior is highlighted by a new steering wheel, sport front seats, carbon fiber, black leather with contrasting stitching, red seat and cars.
The public premiere of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe will be held at the end of the month at the Paris Motor Show. Sales in Europe will begin in December and the other markets the model will be available from early 2017
It is expected that the model to be followed by even more sporty version. She will receive the designation “63” and will count of the V8 engine with over 500 hp.
