Division McLaren Special Operations, which deals with personalization “civilian” models of McLaren, developed the fastest production roadster brand. It will be named MSO Carbon Series LT. The standard Roadster McLaren 675LT Spider, created based on body 650S, was produced in a series of 500 pieces and they were sold out in just 2 weeks. The new version is even more exclusive, as it will be produced only 25 units have already been bought by customers.
The big feature of the MSO Carbon Series LT is genuine use of carbon fiber in the construction. It is 40% more than in the familiar roadster, as of this material are made hood, side skirts, rear, front and rear wings through and cover the tank.
The engineers at McLaren Special Operations added and active aerodynamic body parts that are borrowed from the Track McLaren 650S GT3. The engine roadster is not changed and remains the same - 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 with 675 hp and 700 Nm.
