Mercedes improved power to all A-Class AMG models and fulfill the promise of early renewal of all its models of family. The cars were upgraded on the same scheme as Mercedes-AMG A45, which uses the same platform. The main upgrade in models Mercedes CLA A45 AMG, Mercedes CLA A45 AMG Shooting Brake and the crossover Mercedes GLA 45 AMG is increasing engine power. So far, the 2.0-liter 4-cylinders turbo engine had 360 hp and 450 Nm, but after renovation it develops 381 hp and 475 Nm.
The company also upgraded the used in the three models 7-speed automatic transmission, where the gears from 3rd to 7th are changing faster and give higher acceleration of the vehicle.
Also Mercedes added a new package called AMG Dynamic Plus, which includes system for blocking of front axle and sport suspension AMG Ride, which has a racing regime. The price of the new package is 2618 EUR and can be ordered from AMG dealer. The orders for the updated models of Mercedes A-Class are available, as in Germany the coupe was estimated at 56,673 EUR, the wagon at 57,268 EUR and the crossover at 56,168 EUR. For comparison the most expensive hatchback A 45 AMG cost 51,051 EUR.
