McLaren presented a showroom in Dubai special version of its roadster 650 Spider, designed for markets in the Middle East. Modification is prepared by the division personalization McLaren Special Operations (MSO), as named 650S Spider Al Sahara 79. It is distinguished mainly by its special pearl color whose brightness is used 24-carrat gold. Developers say the car that make it are inspired by the golden desert sands, which are an integral part of the landscape in the Middle East. The machine has received additional accessories package MSO, which include carbon fiber aerodynamic components, special seats and exclusive interior elements gold. The engine is the standard model - 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8, developing 650 hp and 678 Nm. It allows acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and achieve a top speed of 329 km/h.
Modification 650S Spider Al Sahara 79 was evaluated by McLaren of 396,538 USD. For comparison, the standard Roadster worth 286,900 USD.
